well i have now had a little time to fiddle with squidoo and frankly dont see the point. It seems that the point here is to re-organize and re-present 2.0 based content, in a way that ranks and compensates against relative readership 'value'. First off, mainstream will not get this. They (we)dont get blogging, RSS, Feeds, Social bookmarks, or tagging - how the hell we they (we) get this? Second - what is the real real value here? I looked at the top 50 lenses and frankly found nothing that i dont currently subscribe to, or find more simply using other methods. Ok, the adsense thingy is so so - been there and done that - and the bookmarking functionality is neat (i bookmark what i like and it registers with my lens) but this is old news too - and used much more cleverly with services like last.fm . Someone please enlighten me as i don't see the mass market eureka here.
